A personal view from a filmmaker cought in the
whirlpool of this nightmare. The film is unique for its satirical
twist, which spares none of the aspects of` the surreal situation. Writer/Director
Goran Radovanovic was born in Belgrade. Graduated art history from
Belgrade's Faculty of Philosophy in 1982. Between 1977 and 1980
he sojourned in Munich on a scholarship awarded by the Goethe Institute.
After his return to Belgrade, he worked as a film critic (for the
magazines "Vidici" and "Filmograf" as well as for Radio Belgrade's
Third Program). Since 1984 Mr. Radovanovic has worked as writer
and director of both feature and documentary films. His films have
been shown in different international film festivals (Amsterdam,
Bombay, Mannheim, Moscow, Prix Italia, New York
Since 1994
he has focused on documentary filmmaking and cooperation with the
independent media (B92 and later with production group "Mreza").
In 1996 he founded his independent production company "Principal
Film".
