Buzzco Assocites Production is located in downtown New York City. The filmmakers were moved to create short flash movie THREE BLIND MICE as a result of the events of September 11th. VINCENT CAFARELLI has worked as a professional animator at many major studios in New York since the 1950's - Famous Studios, UPA, Gifford Animation, Stars & Stripes Productions, and Perpetual Motion Pictures. CANDY KUGEL joined Vincent at Perpetual Motion Pictures in the mid-1970's. There she worked on many commercials and made over 100 one-minute films for NBC's news show, Weekend. Between 1979 and 1983 they did much of the animation and creative direction of the 5 Berenstein Bears' 1/2-hour television specials for NBC, and Vincent co-directed Strawberry Shortcake in Big Apple City. In 1987, Vincent and Candy made a five-minute film with an original song, A Warm Reception in L.A. The film received awards from national and international film festivals and was acquired by The Museum of Modern Art Film Archive. In 1990, they finished their second short in the same style, Snowie and the Seven Dorps. In 1991, they completed their third, Fast Food Matador. We Love It! was completed in 1992 and made its U.S. premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The Ballad of Archie Foley - he played it by ear was completed in 1995. In 1997 they produced the critically acclaimed KnitWits. Other projects include Talking about Sex, a 30-minute video for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, teaching 10-14 year olds about puberty.
