I Session (the afternoon program)
2:00 PM - Screening of the film - AFGHANISTAN
UNVEILED - the story of the first student journalists to visit
the outlying areas of Afghanistan to document women's human rights
abuses after the fall of the Taliban regime.
3:00 PM - A HUMAN RIGHTS DAY PROGRAM focused on HUMAN
TRAFFICKING, with a video presentation featuring the City of Los Angeles
at the forefront of addressing this vitally important human rights
issue; and speakers addressing the on-going trainings for Los Angeles
citizens concerning Human Trafficking.
4:00 PM - Screening of the film - TALK
MOGADISHU - MEDIA UNDER FIRE - the story of the people who established
the first television and radio stations in Mogadishu, Somalia, to
give people a voice concerning their human rights issues, following
the civil war in that country. .

II Session (the evening program)
6:00 PM - Hors d'oeuvres and Wine Reception and Guided
Tours of the Hollywood Entertainment Museum.
6:45 PM - A HUMAN RIGHTS DAY PROGRAM focused on HUMAN
TRAFFICKING, with a proclamation from the Mayor of Los Angeles; a
video presentation featuring the City of Los Angeles at the forefront
of addressing this vitally important human rights issue; personal
testimonies from Human Trafficking victims; and speakers addressing
the on-going trainings for Los Angeles citizens concerning Human Trafficking.
7:15 PM - Screening of the film - KPFA
ON THE AIR - a documentary that tells the story of the founding
of the first alternative radio station in the United States, leading
to the creation of the Pacifica Network and its long history of giving
a voice to human rights issues around the world.
8:15 PM - PANEL DISCUSSION with media experts and
celebrities.
