Their centuries old culture is at risk of disappearing. They are the Maasai in Kenya. Now two of their own are in a race against time to preserve their heritage. We join them on their journey deep inside this fascinating world.
Biography:
Andi Gitow was born in New York and studied at Columbia University. She is a two-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker who has been working as a TV producer and director for more than fifteen years. She began her career as a long-format producer with NBC Network News, based in New York. While there, she also senior-produced and was head of a special programming unit. In 2004 she moved to United Nations Television (UNTV) in New York, where she began producing films covering a range of themes from human rights to climate change. She has also produced for National Geographic and the Discovery Channel and has garnered over twenty journalism awards.
