Description:

As Mervat goes about her daily life in Amman, Jordan, she narrates her inspiring story of strength and survival, as seen through her eyes. Shot in the name of honor, she was disabled. In this documentary, Mervat shares life lessons inspiring to all women, about overcoming even the greatest obstacles.

Biography:

Marta has a background in law, a degree from University of Padova and Bocconi University, Milan. She has worked as a research assistant at the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, where she was also involved in the organization and creation of training and activities for women from Iran.
