Director/Producer: Fran Guijarro

Description:

Moses, a talented songwriter with a promising music career in the 70s, sees his life implode due to addiction, ultimately enduring homelessness in San Francisco for over two decades. He finds solace on a street corner in the financial district, where he shows a unique gift for connecting with passersby, aiming to make himself visible among the invisible. There he meets a Spanish film student who offers him the lead role in a narrative short. The making of this film unexpectedly launches Moses on a journey to reclaim his life, family, and music. Along this path, other storytellers from the past emerge, all of whom had played a vital role in Moses’s quest to regain his humanity. Filmed over the course of 15 years, the story features Moses’s original, unreleased music, and has been captured in MiniDV, HD video, 35mm, Super 16mm, and Super 8mm film. It just entered the 2024 film festival circuit.
