(51 minutes) Croatia
Director: Slaven Zimbrek
Producers: Kristijan Grdan, Slaven Zimbrek
Description:
No Place for You at This Workplace deals with social prejudice against certain vulnerable groups and the discrimination against them in the workplace, seen through the personal stories of the protagonists. The film is divided into five thematic units, each of them dealing with potentially vulnerable groups--people with physical disabilities, people with intellectual disabilities, women, the Roma, homosexuals and people living with HIV/AIDS. Each topic is introduced by the opinions of passers-by surveyed in the centre of Zagreb, Croatia. The film was produced in connection with a research project implemented by the Centre for Peace Studies, and was funded with the support of the Open Society Institute in Croatia and Autorski Studio FFV.
