Biography:
Catalina’s interest in art began with ballet and contemporary dance. She studied management and communications at Boston College and worked in New York as a producer of transmedia projects for different European brands and magazines. She moved to Paris and completed a bachelor's degree in art history and a master's degree in literature at the Sorbonne, during which time she also made several trips to India, Japan and Bhutan. Her trip to Bhutan inspired her to produce her first book of poetry and photography, Elixir of the Dragon. Mesa also runs her own production company, Miravus, which brings to life a range of projects pertaining to fashion, art and music, among others.
