Description:
Track by Track follows the story of Kendall Collins, an 18-year-old sketch artist with autism who is on the brink of adulthood. As he prepares for college and promotes his artwork, he must learn to navigate the practicalities of everyday life. Kendall struggles with the tension between the sanctuary of his sketched world and an unknown future in the world of adults. By using his passion for trains and art, Kendall begins to lay tracks for the journey ahead.
Biography:
Anna Moot-Levin is a documentary filmmaker based in New York City. She has directed four short documentaries, A Breath of Life, Still in Motion, Well-Fed, Track by Track and co-directed and co-produced the short documentary Tears of Men. Her work has been screened at numerous festivals including Slamdance and the AFI/Discovery Channel Silverdocs Film Festival. She is also an associate producer of the Academy Award-winning documentary Inside Job. Anna Moot-Levin has an MFA in Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University and received her BA in film and sociology from Vassar College.
