Biography:
Carlota Coronado and Clara Roca join forces to write and direct this short documentary film. For
Clara Roca (Menorca, 1986) “La Eminencia” marks her debut in film
directing after studying film and photojournalism in Argentina and
Spain, and working in advertising and theatre production. For Carlota
Coronado (Madrid, 1978), this is her tenth short film as a director,
which include “Libra,” “Luciérnaga,” and “16 semanas,”
amongst others. Carlota is also the founder of Zampanò Producciones,
together with Giovanni
Maccelli, whose short
films have received numerous national and international awards
including the Goya for Best Animated Short Film in 2015 for “Juan y
la nube.”
