Milos Bajic was brought to the concentration camp Matthausen. He
secretly drew the crimes committed in the camp. He did his drawings,
knowing that he would be shot if they were found. Every new line led
him closer to death, but it was also what kept him alive.
Biography:
Darko
Bajic is a well-known Serbian director and producer. He has been
active professor at the Department of Film Direction, as well as
Associate Dean and Head of Department for FTV Direction in several
mandates at the Faculty of Drama. He is owner and Managing Director
of production company the Magic Line. He won numerous international
and local awards, and his films and TV series have had high
viewership. He is also founder and President of Association of Film
Directors of Serbia and Serbian Film Centre, and was twice elected
Head of Managing Board. He has been working as Professor of Film
Direction at the Faculty of Drama for 28 years. His students are now
renowned authors.
Darja
Bajic graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, the
Department of Management and Production in Theatre, Radio and
Culture. She received her Ph.D.-- thesis title “Stimulative
Instruments and Strategies of Cultural Policy Applied to Film
Production” -- in Serbia in 2018 at the same faculty. Since 2006,
she has been professionally engaged in project management in the
field of culture, production of film festivals, and events, as well
as in film and television production. She worked as producer on the
feature film On the Beautiful Blue Danube; documentary O
Gringo; documentary Line of Life, and documentary series Stories from the Great War. Currently, she is working as a
producer of the biggest film festival in Serbia – Belgrade
International Film Festival FEST.
