#Female Pleasure is a plea for female sexuality in the 21st
century. The film questions millennial patriarchal structures, as
well as today’s omnipresent porn culture. #Female Pleasure accompanies five extraordinary women around the globe from Japan
to India and the Somali Muslim diaspora, to the Hasidic community in
Brooklyn and the Catholic clergy in Europe. It reveals universal
contexts and shows the successful fight of courageous women for a
self-determined female sexuality and an equal, sensual relationship
between the sexes.
