He prefers to blend the two and create a fantasy world within the real world we are all familiar with. He has a background in journalism. This degree from Humboldt State University, taught him the importance of research, sourcing, organizing, directing, and producing. He obtained a master's degree in film from San Diego State University, which strengthened his knowledge and ability to direct and produce, along with learning the fundamentals of cinematography.
