Jada Portillo is a 16-year-old Latina girl from Bentonville, Arkansas who performs as Bill Baird at National History Day competitions. Bill Baird is a reproductive right reformer who, in 1973, warned Americans that the religious right was working to overturn Roe v. Wade was strategizing to bring legislation to give embryos status as people. Against all odds, Bill Baird secured a historic “right to privacy” victory with his 1972 Supreme Court case, Eisenstadt v. Baird, which granted all single Americans access to birth control. Today, at age 91, Bill Baird lived in total obscurity - that is until Jada rediscovered him.  

Biography:

Rebecca Cammisa is a two-time Oscar®-nominated and Emmy award-winning filmmaker. Her  film, Sister Helen aired on HBO, and won the Sundance Film Festival's Documentary Directing Award and an Emmy award nomination for Outstanding Cultural and Artistic Programming and an Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary Film Award nomination from the Directors Guild of America. Rebecca founded Documentress Films, teamed up with Mr. Mudd Productions, and directed and produced the Oscar®-nominated documentary, Which Way Home and received four Emmy nominations. Rebecca's next film, God is the Bigger Elvis received an Oscar® nomination for Best Documentary Short Subject and Atomic Homefront won the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award. .

Walter Köhler is founder and CEO of the internationally acclaimed Terra Mater Studios. He created the Natural History Unit of the Austrian public broadcaster ORF ahd helped nature to re-conquer the big screen by being involved in the BBC features Deep Blue and Earth. His film The Ivory Game was recognized on the Academy Award® Best Documentary Feature Shortlist..

Sarah Nörenberg’s film career spans from Alaska to Far East Russia. Her passion for impact-driven storytelling led her to join Terra Mater Studios as producer for non-scripted and scripted content. She has been making her directorial debut with Orca-Black & White Gold, an award-winning docu-thriller on the marine mammal entertainment industry. 

Michael Frenschkowski benefits from 23 years of experience, filming in more than 18 countries around the world, producing and line producing numerous German & international feature films/TV productions. In 2012, he entered the world of Terra Mater Studios where he helped in producing the feature films ‘Brothers of the Wind’, ‘MindGamers’ and ‘The Ivory Game’. Michael is also a member of the European Film Academy and the Austrian Film Academy.
