Biography: Jane Wells is an
Emmy-award nominated filmmaker, best known for producing and
directing the documentary Tricked about sex trafficking in the
U.S.A. Other feature credits include A Different American Dream about environmental degradation on Native American lands, and the
groundbreaking documentary The Devil Came on Horseback about
the genocide in Darfur. Her short documentaries include A System
of Justice about death row exoneree Glenn Ford and Native
Silence about intergenerational trauma among Native American
women. As founder of 3 Generations, a 501(c)3 not for profit
organization whose mission is to tell the stories of survivors of
human rights abuses, she has written, produced and directed over 40
short films and videos. Her newest feature documentary is Pot
Luck: The Altered State of Colorado.
