Biography: Olivera Miloš
Todorović is a journalist, documentary film & TV director,
producer, and founder of Artistic production Group ShockArt. She then
created ShockART production. For 15 years she was a host journalist
and Editor of the First Channel Studio B Independent Radio Station –
Belgrade, and Journalist/Editor in Free B 92 - Radio and Film
Productions, and author of a number of TV series on TV B92, Studio B,
ART Kanal. Over the last five years she has been working as author
and director on the production Campagne and video clips on human
rights - “Raising Public Awareness About Violence Against
Children”, “Against Children Trafficking" and "Against
Children's Poverty", in the joint production with Save the
Children. She was selector for Domestic Competition Programme of
Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival. She is the producer and
author of the three-TV series Sofa which promotes positive
reformist initiatives and deals with issue of democratisation,
globalisation and transition of Serbian society. During her work
with the ShockArt she directed 20 documentaries and more than 50 TV
shows, and received 10 domestic and international awards. Some of
them are Honourable Award, Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie,
Karlsruhe, Germany 2000, Gold Award of the 19th Tokyo Video Festival,
Japan, ‘97, Award for Investigative Journalism by the Embassy of
the USA and the Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia
2008.
