Description:
This Western
environmental documentary is set in the Tabernas Desert in Spain,
Europe’s only desert. Known for being the backdrop of many famous
Western films, sadly, the area is being trashed. But now, with the
help of some locals, an English ex-pat is forming a posse and taking
things into his own hands. Literally.
Biography:
David Regos is an
award-winning documentary producer/director, whose work has screened
not only in countries around the globe but also in outer space. His
first film was a feature documentary, Figures
& Loops , about the world of artistic
roller-skating. David co-directed Divide in
Concord, which followed an 84-year old
grandmother on a crusade to ban plastic bottled water and won awards
at festivals around the world. His film The
Most Ideal Place was awarded Best Film at
Cinespace in Houston and This Other World won Best Documentary.
